Summary

With flexibility comes a lot of different options. The daily note provides very little structure to us as Obsidian users, so it can become overwhelming as to how we approach note-taking here.

There are two daily note users (as far as I have seen)!

Those who structure and those who don't!

To stay true to the scratchpad/journal ethos, I like to keep my daily note as organic as possible. I split it into two parts, priorities & notes of the day.

There are some super setups out there, and people are using templates and variables to make complex notes (which is super impressive) but not in line with my simplicity first mentality.
